Singer, composer, and accordionist from the Dominican Republic who has been called an influential figure in popularizing the merengue típico genre around the world. Many of his songs have been included on Spotify, YouTube, and other leading international music charts. He has become best known for tracks such as "El Abogado (Mariela)," "Una Noche," and "Los Cabareces."
Before Fame
He worked in cocoa production to help his family, including his grandparents who raised him. He was inspired by his father who also played the accordion and learned under maestro Lupe Valerio. He adopted his stage name based on the nickname "El Rubito," which he was given while performing at parties early in his career.

In the year 2023, his event "El Rubio & Sus Amigos," which featured performers like Chimbala and Fefita La Grande, sold out at the United Palace in New York.
