Colombian cyclist who has gained fame racing for the UCI WorldTeam Sky Team. In 2019, he became the first Latin American to ever win the Tour de France as well as the youngest to win title in over 100 years. Other major wins of his include stage races in the 2018 Tour of California and the 2018 National Time Trial Championships. 

Before Fame

His father introduced him to cycling at the age of five and by the age of eight, he won his first race, for which he earned a training scholarship.
