Eduardo Scarpetta

About

Italian actor, performer, entertainer, and artist who is best known for his roles in projects such as The King of Laughter, Gionatan with a G,  and Carosello Carosone. He has also starred in the television series The Lions of Sicily and The Ignorant Angels.

Before Fame

At the young age of nine, he made his theatrical debut in the play Felicello and Felicella. He graduated from a liceo classico in Naples. He also studied acting at the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia in Rome.

Trivia

In the year 2022, he won the David di Donatello for Best Supporting Actor for his portrayal of his great-grandfather Vincenzo Scarpetta in The King of Laughter. 

Family Life

He is the son of actors Mario Scarpetta and Maria Basile. His great-great-grandfather is the Italian actor and playwright Eduardo Scarpetta.

He starred alongside Alba Rohrwacher and Gaia Girace in the television series My Brilliant Friend.
