Former rugby player and sports analyst that played professionally from 1976 until 1990. During his rugby career, he primarily played the position of number eight. He also played for the Welsh men's national team.
Before Fame
As a child growing up, he attended Monmouth School in Monmouth, Wales. He later received his first professional contract playing for Pontypool RFC.
Trivia
Towards the end of his playing career, he eventually discovered that he had a passion for journalism. In 2008, he was given the honor of working at the Beijing Olympics.
Family Life
He lived with his wife, Susan, and their family in Wales. Together, they have six children.
