Polish language teacher and YouTuber, known for his language teaching channel, Ecolinguist. His channel has over 350,000 subscribers and he provides lessons in Slavic, Romance and Germanic languages.

Before Fame

He developed his YouTube channel, which is called Ecolinguist, in the year 2016 after traveling through Southeast Asia, and realizing the power of language as a tool for communication and human connection. He started the channel with the aim of sharing his Polish culture. 

Trivia

His YouTube lessons are conversation focused and community driven. His main goal is to focus on what connects his viewers (the love for languages), instead of what divides us. His most popular videos feature a language learner trying to understand a similar language they do not speak (ie Poles and Russians trying to understand Bulgarian).

Family Life

His name is Norbert Wierzbicki and he lives in the UK. He grew up in the Polish contryside and spent his formative years learning how to speak other languages and observe other cultures through an anthropological lens.
