Writer, performer, entertainer, artist, and actress who has written numerous stage plays including The Apology and Mister Benn - A Femoir. In the year 2015, she appeared on the TV series The Blacklist. In the year 2023, she directed THE SUGAR WIFE by Elizabeth Kuti at The Lir in Dublin. 

Before Fame

She obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy and French from University College Dublin. She subsequently earned her Master of Arts degree in Theater Performance from Goldsmiths College, University of London. Before embarking on her own film projects, she worked in script development for Lambart Productions in Paris (HAIRDRESSER's HUSBAND and YVONNE'S PERFUME) as well as writing social commentary for print and web publications including iVenus and The Sunday Independent in Ireland.

Trivia

She has been a lecturer at University College Dublin and The Sorbonne University. In the year 2019, she received a certificate in yoga. 

Family Life

She has been married to her husband Andrew McCarthy. Together, they have two children named Willow and Rowan.
