Puerto Rican DJ and music producer who played a substantial role in the emergence and spread of reggaeton in the San Juan area throughout the 1990s. He did so particularly through his influential "Playero" mixtape series, which have been noted as the watershed in the genre's development. He later shifted his focus to working with BM Records and producing studio albums for acclaimed artists such as 3-2 Get Funky, Tempo, and Rey Pirin.

He was initially inspired by the work and cultural impact of American DJ, hip hop artist, and record producer DJ Tony Touch when he launched his career in the early 1990s. His earliest mixtapes blended hip-hop and dancehall/reggae rhythms.
