Award-winning wildlife conservationist, Instagram star, and social media personality who rose to fame through his [IUdingo_dinkelmanIU] Instagram account, where he shares videos of his countless interactions with wild creatures of all sizes. He founded Dingo's Farm and Reptile Park and became a highly sought-after public speaker and event host. He has also served as an acclaimed presenter on Discovery Channel, as well as on his own self-titled YouTube channel. 

Before Fame

He was initially inspired to work with animals by his father, who was employed by the local Wildlife Authority when he was a child. As he grew up, he became even more passionate about wildlife and decided to pursue a career that would allow him to demonstrate the importance of conservation to audiences around the world.

Trivia

He has been a part of countless animal conservation projects, including those dedicated to pangolins, lions, reptiles, and the endangered brown hyena. He has also raised funds to support the Zululand Rhino Orphanage and multiple South African campaigns related to rhino dehorning, which is one of the most effective anti-poaching strategies worldwide. 

Family Life

After suffering a bite from a venomous Green Mamba, he went into anaphylactic shock and fought in an induced coma for approximately 4 weeks. He tragically succumbed to his injury on October 26, 2024. He left behind his wife Kirsty and their 3 children - Taylor, Maddy, and Rex.
