Known for her many performances with the Bavarian State Opera and for both her coloratura and lyric soprano roles, Damrau played major parts in operas such as The Magic Flute, The Marriage of Figaro, and Rigoletto. She also performed at the Metropolitan Opera, La Scala, The Royal Opera, and several other world famous opera houses.
