Medical doctor and government official most renowned for serving as the incumbent Permanent Secretary of the Ugandan Ministry of Health. She has served as the President's Private Secretary in Charge of Medical Affairs, where she worked as one of the Ugandan President's personal physicians. In 2009, she was chosen to lead the Medicine and Health Services Delivery Monitoring Unit, which was placed in order to investigate corruption within the Ministry of Health.

She earned a bachelor of medicine and a bachelor of surgery degree from the Mbarara University School of Medicine before going on to earn her master of medicine degree (with a specialty in Internal Medicine) from the same university. After being chosen to lead the Medicine and Health Services Delivery Monitoring Unit, she helped to reveal an illegal enterprise run by officials of both Uganda and Kenya to sell drugs across the border. She also helped to uncover almost 300 ghost employees fraudulently placed on the Mulago National Referral Hospital's payroll.
Family Life
She is the daughter of both Ernest Rujundira and Joy Kensheka Rujundira. She is the third of their children. She has three children herself, which were fathered by her husband Mr. Kamzira.
