Before Fame

He earned his degree in chemical engineering from the University of Lagos before also obtaining a Certificate in Acting for Film from the New York Film Academy. While attending college, he was an active member of several drama groups. He made his feature film debut in the 2010 movie ZR-7.

He won the Best Actor in a Short Film Award at the 2013 In-Short Film Festival for his role in the thriller Blink. He also earned a Best Actor in a Comedy nomination for his performance in Omo Ghetto: The Saga at the 2022 Africa Magic Viewers' Choice Awards.

His father is Adeyemi Okanlawon and his mother is Adeyinka Okanlawon.
