Lacrosse coach, general manager and former player who has won the NLL GM of the Year award and the Les Bartley Award for Coach of the Year multiple times, receiving both of those honors in 2006, 2010 and 2014. He was inducted into the Canadian Lacrosse Hall of Fame in 2012.
Before Fame
He was born in Oshawa, Ontario and was an All-American lacrosse player at Ithaca College. He won the Rookie of the Year award during his first year as a professional with the Buffalo Bandits.
Trivia
Under his leadership, the Portland Lumberjax became the first expansion team in National Lacrosse League history to finish first in its division.
Family Life
His wife Wendy passed away in January 2015. He is a second cousin of NHL coach Mike Keenan.
