Denise O'Sullivan

Irish soccer player who played as a midfielder for the North Carolina Courage in the National Women's Soccer League (NWSL) and the Republic of Ireland women's national team. She signed with the Courage in 2017 and helped lead the team to three consecutive NWSL Shield titles as well as two consecutive NWSL Championships. She was voted MVP by her teammates in both 2018 and 2019. 

Before Fame

She began her soccer career in 2008 with the Irish club Wilton United, before signing with Peamount United in 2011.

She was born in Cork and grew up in Knocknaheeny, Ireland, the youngest of nine children.
