Canadian stand-up comedian and show host known for appearing on the program Last Comic Standing, for her stand-up routines and specials, and for her contribution to the radio show The Debaters. She has been named Canada's favorite female comedian on several different occasions. Her comedy special, "Single Awkward Female" premiered on Showtime in January of 2012. She frequently attends comedy festivals around the world.
Before Fame
She initially began college pursuing fashion design. However, she did not complete the program. Her comedy career began at the age of 27 with the help of Humber College's inaugural year of its comedy writing and performance course in 1999. She was on stage for the first time after three months of being in the course. Her career quickly began growing in Canada due to her relatable humor and personality.

She credits Carol Burnett and Laverne & Shirley (starring Penny Marshall and Cindy Williams) as some of her inspirations. She has Italian heritage and grew up in a large family.
