Singer-songwriter who is widely known for her time as part of the pop-folk duo The Weepies. She formed the group with Steve Tannen in 2001 after being a fan of his solo work, and in 2015, had their fifth studio album Sirens released while she battled breast cancer.
Before Fame
She graduated from Brown University where she was a member of the US' oldest female acapella troupe The Chattercocks. She then moved to Portland, Oregon where she began her music career.

Her fourth full-length The Weepies album Be My Thrill debuted at #34 on the US Billboard Top 200 chart. Her solo single "Forgiven" was played over the closing credits of the 2001 film Lovely & Amazing.

She married her bandmate Steve Tannen in 2007. She shares three kids with him.
