American singer-songwriter who broke out on Soundcloud with her 2019 EP House on Wheels. She collaborated with Slowthai on the 2021 track "push." Her best-known solo songs include "Funky" and "Sweet & Spice." She has 4,000 followers on Facebook, 10,000 on Twitter, 150,000 on Instagram, and 20,000 subscribers on YouTube.

Before Fame

Born in Spokane and raised mostly in the state of Washington by her nurse mother, she is now based in Los Angeles. She taught herself how to play guitar at 11. She began writing songs at 15. She started out as a session guitarist before putting out her own music on Soundcloud. She also spent time in the WEDIDIT collective.

Trivia

She took her stage name from an anti-social media joke about incorporeality, so that notifications would show up as, "Deb Never liked your photo." And she's obsessed with birds and with flying. If she had a superpower, she would want it be flying.

Family Life

Her father is a missionary and Presbyterian pastor, with whom she traveled extensively throughout East Asia when she was younger. As she matured into her career, along the way she has collaborated with BROCKHAMPTON and Dominic Fike and opened for Omar Apollo. She's openly gay, and unshy about being Korean-American, but prefers not to lead with either and considers her identity "boundaryless."
