American singer, vocalist, musician, artist, performer, entertainer, composer, and songwriter who rose to fame through YouTube for his 2011 Mandarin Chinese-language cover of Rebecca Black's "Friday." He signed with Universal Music Taiwan the following year.

He studied English and vocal performance at Northwestern University.

Trivia

His cover of "Friday" has racked up more than a million plays on YouTube. He visited Nashville, Tennessee for the first time in the year 2023. His first original single in Mandarin, "A Change of Heart," was featured on the Taiwanese romantic drama series Lady Maid Maid.

Family Life

His brother, George Wang, co-produced the 2017 Western film The Jade Pendant and the 2021 crime drama action film Snakehead.
