Family Life
The son of Gordon and Karen Strickland, he spent his youth in Long Island, New York; Princeton, New Jersey; and Los Angeles, California. Tragically, suffering from mental illness and substance abuse, he committed suicide in Las Vegas, Nevada at the age of twenty-nine.

Shortly before his untimely death, Strickland appeared with Ron Eldard in the 1999 feature film Delivered.
