David Lee

About

American middle blocker who is widely known for his career with the USA men's national volleyball team. He has led the team to a gold medal on numerous occasions, including at the 2008 Olympic Games and the 2015 World Cup. His sports fame has gained over 30,000 followers on his Instagram account. 

Before Fame

He graduated from Long Beach State University in 2004, where he was a first-team All-American blocker as a senior. He played in the then-longest national championship game in NCAA history, where he eventually lost in 5 games. 

Trivia

In 2014, he was named the FIVB Volleyball World League's best middle blocker. He helped the Greek team P.A.O.K. V.C. to a Greek Volleyball League championship in the 2015-2016 season. He stands at a towering six feet, eight inches tall and weighs over 230 pounds.

Family Life

He was born and raised in Alpine, California. His mother's name is Robin Lee, and his father's name is Mac. His primary caregivers were his elder brothers, Mark and Nathan.
