Lead guitarist who founded southern rock band Molly Hatchet. He co-wrote the band's best-known song, "Flirtin' with Disaster." His musical influences included Eric Clapton and The Doors. Molly Hatchet released over 10 albums throughout their long career, most of which he was involved with.
Before Fame
He attended Westside High School in Jacksonville, Florida. He went on to find Molly Hatchet in 1971.
Trivia
He played Dean guitars. He left Molly Hatchet in 1987 due to substance abuse issues but returned in 2005.
Family Life
He was born in Florida and later moved to Hawaii and California. He returned to Florida in 1965, when he was a teenager.
