Award-winning actor and producer most recognized by his role as Azzam in the 2011 drama film The Devil's Double. He's also gained recognition from his appearances in The Boys, Darkland and Game of Thrones. In 2023, he was cast in the role of Ahmed in the action film The Covenant.

Before Fame

He initially began his professional acting career in the early 2000s. He would receive his first acting role in the 2003 drama series Forsvar.

Trivia

Due to his highly-acclaimed performance in the drama film Until We Fall, he was named "Best Actor" during the 2018 Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival. He was also named "Best Actor" during the 2020 Zulu Awards. 

Family Life

Although he was born Baghdad, Iraq, he grew up living with his family in Denmark. He has a son named Zidane together with Danish film producer Meta Louise Foldager.
