Before Fame

Earning his nickname, Spud, from his potato-farming days, he became a renowned full-back, captaining St. Kilda from 1987 to 1995.

Trivia

After a promising debut coaching Richmond, the team struggled the following three seasons, and Frawley resigned to take up commentary for Fox Sports.

Family Life

He married Anita Frawley, host of Fox Footy Channel's Living with Footballers show.

Associated With

Stephen Milne was another well-known St. Kilda player, recording more than 500 goals with the club.
