Daniel Owusu

Ghanian professional football player who is a forward for the Austrian Football 2nd League, on loan from the Austrian professional football club Red Bull Salzburg. His professional debut was in March of 2019 and by 2020 he was named a member of the Premier League where he began as a substitute. He signed a 4-year contract with the Austrian FC Red Bull team in February 2021. 

Before Fame

He got his start with the Ghana Premier League side West African Football Academy where he joined their youth ranks, scoring the goal that helped his team win the 2018 Next Generation Trophy for the first time after four appearances, and was named MVP.

Trivia

He is currently on loan, finishing the rest of the season with SV Horn. In January of 2021, he scored his first goal of the season against the Ebusua Dwarfs.

Family Life

He dedicated his first goal scored in the mainstream premiere league to his mother in a post-match interview.
