Before Fame
He studied at the Miguel León Prado Institute during high school. He then attended the Professional Institute of Communications in Chile, where he eventually graduated with a degree in TV production and directing. He worked as an assistant director and producer at Extra Jóvenes in the year 1986 before debuting as a TV host.
Trivia
He developed addictions to drugs and alcohol and went into rehab to spark his sobriety journey from 2008 through 2010. He then founded the Contradicción Rehabilitation Center in June of 2013. He was a volunteer firefighter for 12 years.
