Stand up comedian and actor who was the first comic to use social networking websites such as MySpace to amass a giant and devoted fan base. On top of stand up he has starred in the films Good Luck Chuck, Dan in Real Life, and My Best Friend's Girl.
Before Fame
He began his comedic career in New York, performing at comedy clubs before moving to Los Angeles. His big break came in 1998 when he did a spot on Comedy Central's Premium Blend, a showcase for up and coming comedians.
Trivia
His comedy album Retaliation in 2005 was the highest charting comedy album in twenty-eight years.
Family Life
He grew up in Cambridge, MA in a Roman Catholic family with five sisters and a half brother, Darryl. Darryl was Cook's business manager until 2008, when it was discovered that Darryl and his wife had embezzled millions of dollars from him and were both sent to prison. He began a relationship with fitness instructor Kelsi Taylor in 2017. The couple married in September 2023.
