TV actor, entertainer, artist, and performer who has appeared in several well-known and popular television shows like House of Cards, Narcos, The Chi, and Luke Cage. He has also played various film roles, including the role of Trey Washington in the Martin Scorsese-directed film Shutter Island.

Before Fame

He attended Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts in London. During his teenage years, he was a member of the Dayton Contemporary Dance Company. 

Trivia

He is a fitness enthusiast. After college, Cook moved to New York, and appeared on Broadway in The Lion King and Miss Saigon. He is a dog person. From the year 2014 to the year 2015, he wrote, directed, and starred in the television series A Black Man Acting.

He has three children.
