NFL offensive guard that played for the Arizona Cardinals, New Orleans Saints and Buffalo Bills during his nine year career. He was named a three time Pro Bowler during the 1970s. Following his 1976 season, he was named a member of the second team All-Pro.
Before Fame
He is a graduate of Twentynine Palms High School in San Bernardino, California. Shortly after graduating, he enrolled in the University of Wyoming.
Trivia
During the first five years of his NFL career, the Arizona Cardinals were actually named the St. Louis Cardinals. He played in exactly 129 games during his NFL career. While playing for the Cardinals, his team was known for their stout offensive line, and they at one point held a record for the fewest sacks surrendered in a season.
Family Life
He and his wife, Joy, were parents of six children. Prior to having a family of his own, he grew up living in the Chicago, Illinois area.
