Scottish serial killer and former nurse who murdered four elderly patients and attempted to murder another in two hospitals in Leeds, England in the year 2002.
Before Fame
He attended the University of Dundee. He originally worked as a travel agent upon leaving college, but after a few years in this role, he decided to retrain as a nurse.
Trivia
In the year 2008, his case was the focus of an ITV Real Crime documentary. In the year 2014, he was the subject of the BBC Panorama documentary, "The Innocent Serial Killer?" Norris is believed to have been inspired by Jessie McTavish, a fellow Scottish nurse who was convicted of murdering a patient with insulin in 1974 before having her conviction quashed in 1975.
Family Life
He was born and raised in the Milton area of Glasgow, Scotland. He was openly gay.
