About

Afro-Cuban musician, entertainer, artist, and performer who has released several well-known and popular songs like "Parar el Tiempo" and "Me Voy." He is particularly known for his fusion of Afro-Cuban rhythms with funk. In August of 2024, he released an album titled Pa' Tu Cuerpa. 

Before Fame

Growing up, he sang in church. He had initially planned to become a doctor, and he attended medical school for two years in Pinar Del Río. However, in the year 2010, he decided to move to Havana to pursue a career in music. 

Trivia

In August of 2024, he performed at Newport Jazz Festival. In February of 2024, he spent some time in Montego Bay, Jamaica. His YouTube video "Cimafunk - Me Voy (Official Music Video)" got more than 4.1 million views in total.
