Olympic middle-distance runner that primarily competes in the women's 800-meters and 1,500-meters events. Since beginning her professional racing career, she has competed in the European Championships, European Indoor Championships, the British Commonwealth Games and the Olympics. She is a member of the Ireland women's national team.
Before Fame
As a teenager, she won the 2009 World Youth Championship. She also won the 2010 World Junior Championship.
Trivia
In July of 2020, she made history becoming the first woman in Irish history to record two different sub-two minute runs in the 800-meters event. A few years later, she won her first two silver medals as a professional during the 2022 Commonwealth Games and the 2022 European Championships.

She grew up living with her family in Portaferry, Northern Ireland.
