Before Fame
He started his career as a comedian after completing a 9-day course on a Welsh farm in 2016 called Clowning in Nature. In 2021, he was furloughed from his job for six months, and took the opportunity to grow his TikTok presence.

He went viral for his period dramas, which include satirical videos based on the regency-era show Bridgerton and film Pride and Prejudice, as well as his own created characters, like Rupert and Mr. Floufry. His TikTok page, which is called brightybuoy, has over 490,000 followers.
