Relief pitcher that was originally drafted by the San Francisco Giants during the first round of the 2012 Major League Draft. He was later acquired by the St. Louis Cardinals via trade in August 2022. He has also pitched in the Pittsburgh Pirates and Los Angeles Angels farm systems during his career.
Before Fame
Prior to being drafted, he attended Mississippi State University where he played college baseball for four seasons. During his senior season, he was named the SEC Pitcher of the Year.
Trivia
He made his official major league debut pitching against the Atlanta Braves on May 30, 2016, as a member of the Giants. He pitched just one inning and recorded two strikeouts.
