Before Fame
His passion for skateboarding was initially sparked in his home state of Vermont, where he entered his first competitions and met fellow future skateboarding greats Colin Hale and Jordan Maxham. After graduating high school, he shared his skating footage to potential sponsors on MySpace, where he caught the attention of Silent Skateboards founder Paul Wilson. Wilson offered to purchase a house in La Cresenta, CA for him and his teammates to live in while they pursued their dreams, and he relocated shortly thereafter.
Trivia
He earned first place at The Boardr Am at NYC Finals in June of 2019. In July of 2022, he ranked number two at the Red Bull Solus Men's Championship in July of 2022.
Family Life
On November 1, 2022, he wished his mother a happy birthday with a loving post and several photos on his chriscolbourn Instagram account. In January of 2023, he was a featured guest on the podcast, "Everyday Is A Breakthrough," which is hosted by his girlfriend Jaden Hummel. He has an older brother who goes by the nickname, "Cutter."
