American record producer, songwriter, and DJ based in South Korea, best known for his work as a producer with hit K-pop groups, Babymonster and Black Pink. He posts to Instagram under the handle, choice37, where he has over 220,000 followers.

Before Fame

Growing up in Los Angeles, he was a member of the hip hop group Longevity Crew. The group released one album, Everything Builds, in 2005. In 2008 he moved to South Korea where he was introduced to YG Entertainment CEO Yang Hyun-suk  by childhood friend and record producer Teddy Park. He soon began working for YG as a producer, and his hit song, "Butterfly," performed by G Dragon, was released in 2009.

Trivia

In the year 2013, he won the Rhythmer Producer of The Year Award. In November 2024, he released a song-writing documentary to YouTube, which shows the grueling song writing process at YG Entertainment's Song Camps.

Family Life

He was born Robin Cho in Los Angeles, California. He is married and has two kids, Shiloh, born in 2019, and Lewis, born in 2021.
