Chirag Shetty

About

Indian badminton player and athlete who won a gold medal in the Men's doubles event at the 2023 Badminton Asia Championships. In the year 2022, he, along with his doubles partner Satwiksairaj Rankireddy, won India's first-ever gold medal at the Asian Games.

Before Fame

He began his badminton training at Uday Pawar Badminton Academy. He later trained at Gopichand Badminton Academy. 

Trivia

He is an avid globe hopper and traveler. For example, in December of 2022, he traveled to Copenhagen, Denmark. In November of 2022, he visited Kaziranga National Park in Assam, India. He has competed in both the 2020 and 2024 Summer Olympics.
