Chi-ling Lin

Actress, model, and television host known for her roles in Red Cliff and The Treasure Hunter. She started her career as a model in advertising, rising in popularity until she was cast in acting roles. In 2019, she played the Veterinarian in the movie Mayday Life. 

Before Fame

At the age of 15, she was discovered by a modeling talent scout. She modeled part-time before leaving the industry and working as an administrative assistant. In 2000, she returned to Taiwan and began modeling again, which is when her career started to take off.

Trivia

She was reported as the top-earning model in the list of 2007's richest celebrities. In 2011, she established the "Chi-ling Sisters Charity Foundation" which focuses on caring for disadvantaged groups and assisting children's learning and medical care. 

Family Life

She was in an on-and-off relationship with actor Jerry Yan for many years. In 2019, she announced her marriage to Ryōhei Kurosawa. She gave birth to her first child in January 2022.
