About
King of Sweden, also known as Carl XII, who ruled during the turn of the 17th century. He led the Swedish Empire through multiple victories on the battlefields of the Great Northern War. However, he would later die at the Siege of Fredriksten and Sweden would concede much of its territory in the Baltics to the Russian Empire.

He took power at the age of 15.
Trivia
He was a renowned general and brilliant strategist, achieving many victories against armies twice or even three times the size of his; namely at the Battle of Narva. He was shot and killed by a projectile at the young age of 36.
Family Life
He never married and had no children. He was born into the House of Palatinate-Zweibrücken.
Associated With
He ruled at the same time as Peter the Great and even rejected a peace treaty from him in 1700.
