Before Fame
He began playing basketball at Ridley College. He transferred to Andrews Osborne Academy in his junior year and then transferred to IMG Academy for his senior season. Bediako was a consensus four-star recruit and one of the top centers in the 2021 class. On April 6, 2021, he committed to playing college basketball for Alabama over offers from Duke, Michigan, Texas and Ohio State.
Trivia
In the 2021 FIBA Under-19 Basketball World Cup, he helped Canada win the bronze medal by averaging four points and 2.9 rebounds per game. He stands 7' tall and weighs about 220 pounds.
