She was born Kayleigh Rose Amstutz. She started her professional career when she was just 17 years old with the song, "Die Young."

Her rise to fame has amassed her a following of 4.8 million on her chappellroan Instagram account. She released the song, "Red Wine Supernova" in the year 2023.  She made a surprise on stage appearance during Olivia Rodrigo's concert in August 2024.
