Former boxer famous for fighting in the lightweight division. The equal protection laws in New York's state constitution allowed her to obtain her boxing license in 19877 after she was rejected from being a boxer due to being a woman. She held a record of 6-0.

Her first fight was held on November 11, 1977, against Margie Dunson. 

Trivia

She caused controversy during her career for some of her matches being fixed. She famously fought against Ernestine Jones in 1978. Her career was covered in the book The Great White Hope by Jack Newfield.
