Before Fame
He took up gymnastics at age five. At age 17, he got his first tattoo which showed the abbreviations of the six gymnastics apparatuses on his right upper arm.
Trivia
He was a silver medalist on the vault at the 2015 European Games. He underwent ankle surgery in June 2022 and was unable to compete at the 2022 European Championships. He also competed at the 2014 World Championships, but he did not advance into any finals.

His parents are named Gerard and Loes. His older sister, Annabelle, was also a gymnast.
