Carlos Yulo

About

Filipino artistic gymnast who won a gold medal in the vault event at the 2021 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships. In 2018, he became the first Filipino gymnast to garner a medal at the World Championships with his floor exercise bronze medal finish. He won the first-ever gold medal for the Philippines at the 2019 World Championships in Stuttgart. He won two gold medals for the Philippines at the 2024 Paris Olympics in the Men's Floor and Men's Vault competitions.

Before Fame

He attended Aurora A. Quezon Elementary School in the capital city of Manila. He subsequently studied at Adamson University in Ermita. He made his Gymnastics World Cup debut in 2018. 

Trivia

He received the President's Award at the 2020 Philippine Sportswriters Association Awards. He obtained his first-ever Asian Championship title after winning a gold medal at the 2022 Asian Artistic Gymnastics Championships.

He has dated popular YouTuber Chloe Anjeleigh.
