In 2008, he recorded his first two mixtapes: Guilty Until Proven Innocent and G5: Certified Fly. He began writing rhymes at the age of 18.

In 2013, he was featured on the Cashis song "Look at Me" and the Kid Ink song "No Option." During the height of his career, in the mid-2010's, he earned praise as being one of the best up-and-coming artists out there, drawing praise from artists like Kendrick Lamar and Diddy for his lyrics and distinct rapping style.
Family Life
He began writing during high school to cope with his father's death. He began dating rapper Lola Monroe in 2012. The couple welcomed a son, Brixton Royal Coleman, in 2013.
