Caine Wilkes

About

Weight lifter who is best known as one of the highest-ranked male American weightlifters. He is best known for his performance at the 2014 Pan American Championships where he grabbed gold with a personal best 399.0kg (880 lbs) total lift in the super heavyweight division.

Before Fame

Beginning with football, his father coached him on a variety of weight lifting techniques to improve his skills before he dropped the sport to focus on lifting. With continued progression and competitions he eventually went on to star in the Rio Olympic games. 

Trivia

In addition to lifting, he is a graduate of Old Dominion University, where he earned a degree in English and concentrated in creative writing. His favorite author is Elmore Leonard and he has aspirations of one day writing a children's book. 

Family Life

He was born and raised in Chesapeake, Virginia by his parents Romana and Chris. He has three brothers Kyle, Cody and Coard.
