Prominent MLB prospect that was drafted by the Washington Nationals during the first round of the 2020 Major League Draft. In 2022, he was named the fourth-best prospect in the Washington farm system. His earned run average through the 2022 season was 14.54.

Before Fame

He was drafted out of the University of Oklahoma. During his sophomore year, he was named a member of the First Team All-Big 12 as well as a member of the Academic All-Big 12 Second Team. 

Trivia

He made his official major league debut pitching against the Cincinnati Reds on August 26, 2022. He recorded six strikeouts in just over four innings pitched. 

Family Life

Growing up, he lived with his family in Tulsa, Oklahoma. His father, Brian, was drafted by the Los Angeles Angels during the 1990s.
