Politician and conservative Republican who was elected to the Florida House of Representatives in the year 2016. He chaired the Insurance and Banking Subcommittee. He was a member of the Tea Party movement. He described himself as a "Trump supporting, gun owning, liberty loving, pro-life, politically incorrect Black man."

He earned a Bachelor of Science at Florida A&M University.

Trivia

In June of 2024, he faced criticism after he said "the Black family was together" during the Jim Crow era. In June of 2021, he was one of 49 House Republicans to vote to repeal the Authorization for Use of Military Force Against Iraq Resolution of 2002.

Family Life

He was raised by a single mother. In the year 2003, he married Erika Lees. They have three sons.
