American actor most famous for having portrayed Coy Duke in the 1982-1983 season of The Dukes of Hazzard. He appeared in the first 19 episodes of Season five.

He auditioned for the role of Bo Duke in 1979 with his longtime friend John Schneider who ended up being cast in the role.
Trivia
He and Christopher Mayer, who played Vance Duke, were known as the "replacement Dukes," for having taken the place of their onscreen Dukes of Hazzard cousins, Bo Duke, played by Schneider, and Luke Duke, played by Tom Wopat, both of whom sat out Season five because of a contract dispute. He served as a spokesperson for the American Cancer Society.
Family Life
He was born in Atlanta, Georgia. He had three sons, one of whom died in a car accident. He always considered Mayer, his Dukes costar, as his brother.
