He uploaded a video of him packaging a few donuts and giving them to a homeless person and a firefighter. He said corporate contacted his manager about the video and his manager fired him. He has amassed more than 420,000 followers on his bryanjohnston_ account.

He launched his account in September 2020. His first video showed him making a drink while he was working at Dunkin' Donuts.

In 2021, he posted a video showing his closing routine in which he threw away donuts, drinks and stale bagels. Several comments highlighted the fact that the food should be donated to the homeless. He later worked at JoS. A. Bank Clothiers.
