Brian Ross Weitz
About
Known by the stage name of Geologist, he is a founding member of the electronic, psychedelic group Animal Collective who would provide electronic sound manipulations and samples for the band.
Before Fame
He met future Animal Collective band mates while attending the Park School of Baltimore. They first started a rock band called Automine. He then separated for a little time to attend Columbia University where he earned a Bachelor's degree in environmental science.
Trivia
He has worked on ocean conservation and environmental policy.
Family Life
He married on Halloween 2009, and had a son in August of 2010.
