She grew up in a small, rural town in Georgia, and was introduced to rap at a young age. By the time she was only 10 years old, she began studying the elements of music recording online, and learning to play various instruments. She released her debut mixtape, "TrillaSexy Cool," in April of 2022.
Trivia
While in college, she was a part of a band called Trilla Gang, in which all the members boasted the last name "Trilla." Adding part of her first name, Briana, she came up with the stage name "Bri Trilla" and stuck with it ever since.
